Baseball Day took place Friday, January18, 2007 at the Othal E. Brand Center. Club members from Zavala and Thigpen Elementary as well as children from the surrounding community participated in this exciting event. Throughout the event club members were taught the rules and basic techniques of baseball. Out of our sixty two club members who participated, fifteen were from Zavala Elementary. Members who participated in this event recieved baseball caps, T-shirts and prizes. Overall this day was a huge success!
